Christian TV

I've been watching Christian networks on TV last few months because real TV is unrealistic. I'm not religious but these channels have genuine people who aren't on TV for fame or money. I like some of these people. I did watch a British Pastor who talked about a monster which is supposed to come out of the ocean according to scripture or something. That was a little too much for me.

I think you are probably referring to the Beast ( Anti Christ) coming out of the sea (of like people or whatever) and becoming a world leader who ends up demanding to be worshiped.

I think you'd be surprised to learn how much money some of these people actually earn. They're selling a product. And do a google search on people like Joel Osteen or Joyce Meyer and then check out the houses they live in.

Joel Osteen is one I can't get into. His whole premise is based on telling stories to make a point. And he seems much too happy to know what he's talking about.
Joyce Meyer today said you shouldn't complain. Then she said she was thankful that her father abused her.

They are both hucksters and preach the prosperity gospel wherein true believers will be financially blessed. Joel Osteen only opened his church to flood victims after being pressured to do so. They're all trash.

I tend to shy away from anyone who seems too flashy. Billy Graham was about the only "TV preacher" I wasn't suspicious of. Granted, I don't watch a lot of broadcast TV these days, religious or otherwise. I do watch my mom's church's youtube livestream because she can't physically go there anymore, and she doesn't know how to work her smart TV.

The minister of that church is clearly not in it for fame or money. He seems to be a humble, caring, and fun loving man. I have met him, and the real him and the "TV him" are one in the same.
