Bring Back Medieval Words

I don't know how historically accurate this list is, but a lot of the words are fun and should be brought back into everyday usage.

I like Daggle-tail, dong, darg, crug, fadoodle, bellytimber, Floccinaucinihilipilification...I could go on. But, they seem to be so wonderfully descriptive, colourful and imaginative.

Which words do you like? Know any others?

Adam's Ale sounds good to me.
Firefanged was cool too. Gaptoothed I actually have heard in passing a few times. I suspect "Ha-Ha" is more describing the reaction of passersby than of the poor bloke that fell into it.

I don't have new ones to add though.

I suspect many of these may have been culled from the Canterbury Tales, although it has been some time since reading it.

I am in favor of the entire list, and could find immediate uses for almost any of these words. Thanks for sharing it!

I have an eighteenth century dictionary at home and have considered a blog about "obsolete words".

Ha ha is still in use.

My favourite word is "Mentimutation: a change of mind"

I intended to go out this morning but I had a mentimutation and I stayed at home instead

I can see where some modern words have evolved from too.
Haven't narrowed down my list of favourites to less than half of them yet lol
