BOILING SPRINGS, SC (WSPA) - Last month, Torrey Wilson started a new Internet radio station for fans of 90s music. It would be a challenge for anyone. For Wilson, there are a few more obstacles.

The 26-year-old Boiling Springs man is blind and has Asperger syndrome. But those challenges aren’t roadblocks when it comes to achieving his lifelong dream.

Wilson has wanted to be a radio disc jockey since he was five years old. Now he's fulfilling his dream on TOR-94 FM. His Internet radio station plays pop and rock music from the 90's and early 2000's and beyond.

Wilson is live at 7 pm every Sunday at www.tor94fm.com.

On June 18th, he will launch a new live show weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

He was able to launch the station with the help of Vashaun Jones, a podcaster who is also blind. He owns a company called Fedora Outlier that trains blind and disabled people to use technology. For more information, click or tap here.
