If you acted confused and frightened and fearful, this probably fell in your favor. Very bad PR juju to be harsh on someone who is obviously having problems.

When we are overcome with emotion of the stupidity of a situation, it can be overload for us. But the more we go into overload, nothing is accomplished and it can have extreme repercussions for us. l have trained myself that the more intense a situation is, the more l need to gain control of myself and bring everyone safetly to a landing. Most of the time l remeber this. l have cried when l completely feel emotionally toooo full, but it seems to happen way less as you age.

For me, people show shock that l am logical and can.present a rebuttal in a nano second. This can cause them to go in denial and say nothing. It could be you are just intelligent in how you present things but you need to maintain your composure. No matter how logical you are, you can't use this to intimadate or force an outcome because you just can't.

This is so completely true. When I become overstimulated or overwhelmed, I shut down. And it happens a lot. It just sucks so, so much.
