The i Paper has previously reported that one pensioner, Aileen Boor, from Stockport, was pursued with letters threatening action, up to her death at the age of 100. Her daughter said Mrs Boor had “picked out her outfit” she planned to wear in court.
Sorry, I am not good at wondering why when disabilities come into the equation, how it's decided which ones are 'appropriate'
Perhaps she'd rather keep the house warm in a cost of living crisis, than to give £200 to a corporation that doesn't reflect the values of the citizen population.
I never understood how they could charge people like that in the first place, it kind of makes a lie out of the term "free to air". As far as I know the UK is the only country in the world that does this.I'm confused how the BBC are allowed to charge a full license to autistic people

Australia's own ABC fills the same role and is just as good, and it gets the community support that it deserves. We just never had to pay for it directly, they're funded straight from tax revenue. Some might say it is worth having a national broadcasting service that doesn't cater to the lowest common denominator in terms of audience.
They've gone down hill a bit over the last 10 or 15 years, they used to be my favourite news server but these days they seem a bit more biased and a bit less informative. The BBC's entertainment side has always been first class though so it's not like the fees you've been paying are wasted. The BBC is often considered quite strong in its reporting standards and as a news source, versus opinionated news formats. It has historically had a good reputation worldwide, barring the few scandals that have hit it, as of late.
