It is Autscape time again!
Would you like to do a presentation to an Autistic audience, at a non-profit event run by Autistic volunteers?
Now is your chance!
Proposals for Autscape 2018 - Exploring Inclusion - are accepted from now until 16th of April:

I’d love to be involved in something like this.

Maybe next year... or the year after, 2020.

Teaching young adults where the solar plexus is and how to drop a bully in one move giving plenty of time to run/ stumble like hell isn’t what they’re looking for.
:)

Teaching young adults how to drop a bully in one move sounds very useful. Are you sure it isn't what they're looking for? :)

Who hasn’t wished they could turn into karate kid on being humiliated by two or three *%#**!! with hard core insecurities and an iPhone camera?

But alas, no.
Not those sort of life skills
:)

Early registration for Autscape 2018, a non-profit conference and retreat organised by autistic volunteers, runs until 7 May 2018. After that, booking closes until sometime in June. Click here to register:

Last year Autscape didn't release the final lineup until after the deadline for booking as a day visitor. Could you do better this time?

Autscape's organisers had to temporarily close booking for Autscape 2018. They don't know how many presenters are booked in yet as they are to be chosen over the next week or so. This year most of the bedrooms are singles. About half the singles have hand-basins. In 2017 they ran out of single rooms. In 2018 it looks like they will run out of twin rooms first. It is difficult to get it right! Over two thirds of the places are now booked. This is a lower percentage than some other years which is good. There was one year a few years back where 90% of places were booked in ten days. However since that year the number of places has increased significantly:

Autscape 2018's programme has been published:
Autscape: 2018 Presentations
This seems like the largest and most diverse programme to date. Congratulations to the 18 presenters and actors who were chosen, and condolences to the 30 submitters who were not chosen. If you haven't registered already, you are advised to do so tomorrow:
Autscape: Main registration
Places this year are extremely limited, so early registration is strongly advised. Thanks to the organisers and good luck to those who still hope to get a place.

Would you like to come to Autscape 2018, the Autistic community's gathering, which will take place in England this summer?
There are only a few places left!
Residential places are still available. Booking them is possible only until Tuesday, 17 July!
Non-residential places are also available.
Booking is open only until the end of July:
