"Autistic" or "Person with Autism"?

Utilitarianism trumps idealism
Or as Tom Lehrer sang it...

🎼Gather 'round while I sing you of Wernher von Braun
A man whose allegiance
Is ruled by expedience
Call him a Nazi, he won't even frown
"Ha, Nazi, Schmazi" says Wernher von Braun 🎶

Makes no difference to me. Not worth getting offended over because, in most cases, neither one is used as an insult.
I don't think it matters. Either one of these means just about the same thing. The attitude and intent of heart that someone says it with is what determines whether it is meant to be insulting or not.
