I'm not sure if this thread has been done before. I was unable to find one like it.

What books have you read about autism? I think it would be neat to compile a list of good books about autism that are worth reading.

The first one I've read was "The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome" by Tony Attwood.
 
I read Look Me In The Eye by John Elder Robison because the psychiatrist who gave me my semi-official AS diagnosis recommended it to me, and I thought it was good. Robison has a new book out called Be Different; I'm currently waiting on a copy of it from the library. Atypical by Jesse Saperstein is another book I liked. I like the humor in Saperstein's writing a lot.

I read Attwood's Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome too and thought it was good even if there were some sections dealing with AS in children that I just skimmed. Overall, it's a must-read for anyone who wants to learn more about AS.
