Aspiescentral App crashing

A couple days ago the app stopped working for me. It will open, try to load and then crash back to the home screen. I tried rebooting the system and reinstalled the app. I use an Apple device. Anybody else having these issues or any known cures? I like the mobile app a lot more as the mobile website, so would love to get it working again
 
I noticed this yesterday, but have had no problem today. I could navigate to the Timeline but when I tapped on the subject heading of a thread I wished to read, the entire app would close. This happened several times so I gave up and tried again today, and had no difficulty.

One think I do not like about the app in general, is that I cannot specify my reaction to a post (Like, Agree, Funny, Winner, Friendly, etc.)--the only option is "Like". But beyond that I have enjoyed using it, except for the crashing yesterday which was frustrating. It doesn't seem to happen to me often though, I just assume it is the result of some maintenance taking place.
