Aspie-like character in movie

DogwoodTree

Still here...
This movie, Frequencies, really intrigued me. The main female character has a lot of aspie-like traits, and she is pursued by more of an NT-like boy. Except in this society, the aspie-like traits are highly valued, and the NT-like traits are ridiculed.

The movie is free for Amazon Prime subscribers. I don't know about Netflix.

I'm so glad that more movies like this are being made! I say "more" because if you remember, in the movie Adam, Beth - the NT - was the one who felt the initial attraction to - and motivation to pursue - Adam - the Aspie. It is really empowering to see instances where the NT character is the one who is lost and not quite sure who to reach the "different" character.

That said - I'm very intrigued by the twist of the NT being the one facing discrimination. I'm very excited to watch this! Thank you for sharing!

waiting for it to buffer some now, got to the "super low frequency meets super high frequency" part and seems really awesome, some interesting sci fi stuff going on here

I remember the 1986 movie "Malcolm". It was filmed in Melbourne, Australia.

The young man in it seems like an Aspie.
