It's not so much repetition, but, familiarity, I would call it.
I want to keep many things the same or I get anxious.
Such as driving the same routes.
Staying with the same stores and even the same parking spot on the lot if I can.
If I feel anxious, doing things that are familiar helps calm me.
For example, I have a daily routine of meditation at a certain time, with a certain guided imagery voice
person and certain music to go to sleep with or play in the background all day while doing chores.
A playlist of songs for driving.
And a set time for doing certain activities everyday when possible.
My room is my cocoon. And that's where I go to recharge and get away from everything when I need.
