Applebee's worker with autism who went unpaid will get wages

How horrible that he worked as a short order cook, and was not paid. On its own a short order cooks job is quite stressful but it usually pays rather better than other jobs in restaurants. The fact that his parents had to complain, and an investigation was begun says much about the restaurant manager and owner.

And ultimately reflects very badly on the franchisor as well.

Errors and omissions happen. But neglecting to pay an employee? Just because we might be autistic doesn't mean we're invisible does it?

Apparently it does ;) but clearly we're not invisible when it comes to the work being done, we're just invisible when other parties are involved to support us in one way or another (in this case, pay people for the work they done, which in some way can be considered "support" I suppose)
