Anyone practive Hypnosis?

It helped me to quit smoking, years ago. I walked in as a smoker, and left the session as a non-smoker. Worked like a charm.

I use forms of meditation that could be considered auto-hypnosis but I've never been to see a hypnotist. I am very tempted to give it a go but I'm not sure what to target in terms of changing something.

@ Bay: How many sessions did it take for you to become a non-smoker?

Only one, though I listened to a tape every night for a couple of weeks afterward.

That's amazing, Bay. When my older brother quit smoking, he went cold turkey & said it was the hardest thing he'd ever had to do in his entire life. Have you tried it since for anything else?

I thought it was amazing too. I did try it again a few years later, for weight loss, but it didn't seem to make a difference. You can't avoid food the way you can avoid cigarettes.

Iv used sessions on CD for a lot of different issues. And know other people who have aslo. Seems that one particular session will work great on one person and not another and vise versa. Something about the way each individual s brain accepts the message.

@ Undiagnosed: Which ones have you found to be the most effective? I don't want to just order something because I have no way of judging what is & isn't legit.

Lavish Life

this is the guy I like a lot. I have quite a few of his CD's and the way he dose it makes it almost imposasable to listen to it without getting into a 'transe' state. For some reason he dosn't have a lot of his usual topics listed on his store right now. You could probably ask him for what you want. I know he has smokeing , social , he has on for HGH release (human growth hormome) which is great. Gives me an energy and health feeling. He has Pharemone release that works and he has a lot of others that I don't see on his store.
