anyone on here diagnosed with DSM 4 "classic autism"?

It took four years, but it's finally been settled!

We have the best turtle in dah world. :)

Aw, what a nice thing to say -- thanks, Fino! :)

I can think of at least 4 other people on this site who have a classic autism diagnosis, although one of them is new here and maybe the others weren't on the site when this thread was made. (I wasn't here yet, when this thread was created.) I imagine there are more than just the people I can think of.

By the DSM 4 and officially, yes. Asperger's was eventually ruled out due to my early development and was an unofficial diagnosis, received an official diagnosis of "high functioning" autism. No, I don't think of myself as ill at all.
