For my entire life it seems I have had a habit of doing things because I think I have to, even if I would rather not do it because it's uninteresting or frustrating.
Example:
I got a DVD set of The Secret World of Alex Mack for Christmas or my birthday (I forget which) because it's considered classic Nickelodeon and I missed out on it as a kid but was aware of it back then and always curious about the show. However, I never got around to watching it for so long I became worried it was a waste of money (I feel that way with many DVD sets), so I watched the entire thing in one sitting (after I discovered the fad of "binge watching", although mine was more like a marathon since Alex Mack isn't a serial).
