A Connection Between Autism and Epilepsy

That is very interesting. When I was in my forties, I had a problem with seizures. When I get really hungry I get all jittery, like I have had to much caffeine. That is how I felt before I had a seizure. I went to a doctor who gave me a prescription to control it. I took those meds for almost a year and haven't had a seizure problem since. I never thought about a relation to autism because that was twenty years before I knew I was on the spectrum. I guess now I have something else to research. I had better get to it.

Interesting indeed. I knew two people with lower functioning autism who had epilepsy. I'm all for helping those with epilepsy and severe autism, I just hope this doesn't lead to wipe out the talents of those with high-functioning autism.

Hello. My dad's girlfriend's kid with high-functioning autism has epilepsy. I knew there was a correlation between the two. I don't have problems with seizures luckily.
