I have some missing posts.
I'm new and I want to say first off that I really like your multiquote thing. I've been on WP for years and recently left and I'm very glad I found ya'll. It feels comfortable so far and I like all the bells and whistles you have here.

That brings me to the question. Do you have any kind of a FAQ about all the features on the forum? I know that most people who are familiar with the internet or with lots of forums may know about how to use all the features and what they do, but a list of them, what they do, and how to use them would be helpful for the occasional old lady like me who would still be using AOL 7.0 and Windows 98se if she could. :-)

My suggestion is to maybe put a Mod attention thread on this subforum like on WP, unless you have a report feature. I haven't looked for it though, so it may be there. It might also be useful in discussing conflicts in threads. Maybe. That was discouraged at WP and might not be so pretty, but could be valuable.

Either way, I really like it and I'm looking forward to playing around with all the buttons and stuff and finding out what everything is.
 
Hi OOM, there is a report button at the bottom of your post, and a link to FAQ at the bottom of this post that may help with some of the things you need. If there is anything you need to know that isn't listed just drop any member of staff a pm and we'll chase it up.

What I want to know is simple, what does every button do and how do you work it? LOL I know that's a really silly question and not at all simple, I'm just not very familiar with most things on the internet. I really do need detailed instructions on things that are obvious to other people who do more stuff online. I'll play around with stuff and see what I can figure out on my own and make a list of what I don't understand after I've looked at everything and messed with it. I'm probably the only one who wants to know this kind of thing, so an FAQ on it probably isn't needed.

Oh, one question I just thought of though, can I post pictures that aren't on Flickr? I'd like to put up some from the computer because I have forgotten my Flickr username and pw and even which email address I used to create it. I don't want to deal with making another one so if I can't that's ok, but I'd like to sometimes put one up that I have on here.

You can post images direct from your machine using the 'upload a file' option at the bottom of your text box. It asks if you want it as a full image or thumbnail, I set it to full image as a rule so the picture shows straight away.

Thanks! I'll try that. Also, are there private albums you can have in your profile and set them so only members or friends etc can see them? I might like to do that.

Yep, click on media and set yourself an album, I believe the setting are there for who can view them.
