(30M) I'm relatively ugly and I'd like some advice

You're not ugly. You look fine. You may not appeal to the average supermodel, but I don't think your physical appearance would preclude you from being able to attract a partner. If you have autism and aren't succeeding romantically, chances are that autistic social skill difficulties are hindering you more than appearance.

Other men on the looksmaxing forum told me I was doomed because I didn't fit the standards and said I should get surgery because my nose and lips were too big, according to them
Men on looksmaxxing forums are obsessed with physical perfection, often to unhealthy degrees. Men on those forums are critical of everyone's appearance unless they're in like the top 10% of physical attractiveness. In real life, average-looking guys are not excluded from dating based on appearance.

For what it is worth you aren't ugly dude. Some people may not like you but they don't matter. You'll never be "attractive" to everyone that would be impossible, but there is nothing approaching ugly in your photo. You sir are a handsome young man. Just need to work on your self-confidence is all.

Good evening, (photo of me) as you can see I'm ugly, and I need to know how I can work on my self-confidence to compensate and think less about my bad appearance, what is the best remedy? View attachment 149733
I would say you have a studious face, some one who asks questions a lot. You don't look ugly. I have often thought that what is admirable in people is their character. To be of good character is a valuable thing and it often shines further than appearances.

That top doesn't look nice. I think your hair could be improved. Maybe try a different style? It's not over for you at all.

Looksmaxxing lol. Oh my God.

The "standards" are not built for Black bodies, I'm afraid. They're trying to make you feel like everyone is supposed to look like an idealized Northern European fellow who may or may not actually exist.

You are a very handsome fellow as is.

Oh, and I say that as someone who's almost completely Anglo-Scots-Irish. I have a British last name and it matches my appearance completely. I still wouldn't match the standards, because, true to a British heritage, I have bad teeth! Doesn't keep me from smiling.

I'm glad to be a little ugly. It helps me seem less intimidating to people, and I can be more helpful in more situations.
