Tonight, for dinner, I will make a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich with a side of tomato soup. Tasty. Food comforts me during times of stress. It's a step above finding comfort in beer.
For the first time in my life, I can claim that I love myself and want to build myself up.
My recovery begins with me respecting my own boundaries and dropping them for nobody.
I do not have to be who I was yesterday. I do not have to be who I was five minutes ago. I have my friends, I have my higher power, I have forces in my life that are stronger than addiction, stronger than my bloodline’s diseased weaknesses.
It is never too late for me to change the course of my life.
It turns out my RL friends are there for me in my darkest of hours, and for that, I am grateful. I will repay them by being the best version of myself I can be, for myself and for them. Forget my family’s voice in my head.

Hands of time will wring my neck. Every little moment spells regret. But I don’t have to feel this way. As a voice inside my head says Good Night. Good Night.
I feel like hitting the "reset" button on my life, starting fresh and anew, taking a completely different road than what I have been walking on. I should do exactly that.
The only reason I do not have a cat at my house is because my two closest RL friends are highly allergic to cats. I wish cat allergies were not a thing for anybody.
I just watched Alphaville. I think I need to see it a second time before I can tackle writing a critical review of it. It is one of the weirdest films I have ever seen.
I have decided to give up non alcoholic beer.
I feel like making a teriyaki stir fry for dinner tonight. Serve it over brown rice and add some sriracha for a little kick. More veggies than chicken.

I want an evening of Diet Mountain Dew, chicken soft tacos and cheesy/campy horror movies. Tomorrow, I will make that happen for myself. -
