  • Tap water is tasty in my house, so I guess I lucked out in that regard.

I drink tap water almost exclusively. New York City has good water.

Beware...the older you get the more you have to consider a possibility of diminished hand-eye coordination. Something I've run into after a hiatus of computer gaming on my old "legacy" computer still running Windows XP.

I wish tacos and pepperoni pizza did not cause gerd flare ups. I wish curry was a gerd safe food.

@Judge my roomie loves fast food, he is on vaca, so l am enjoying healthy options, lentil burgers, egg wraps, protein powder smoothies, way easier on my digestive track. Maybe l have a sensitive system, part of autism? Since so many of us just prefer one specific meal and we can eat it over and over?

I wish anything you didn't have to cook was GERD-safe... seriously, why does it have to be fatty AND sugary AND spicy foods?

Good question. Over the years I've come to believe that a major difference between restaurant food and fast food is relative to fat content and whether a food is primarily processed or quite fresh. Processed meat or chicken in particular seems far less harmful to me than that which is drenched in fat to enhance flavor. Though I don't make it a habit to eat fast food all the time either.
I am at the bus stop in downtown Tacoma waiting for the bus that will take me to my job. A guy is sitting here smoking crack and not even trying to hide it. Lovely.

Tacoma has always been sketchy. My aunt moved out about 20 years ago for that reason.

You know your area’s gone downhill when not smoking crack makes you the weird one 😂
I have recently been playing Dead Island on the 360. Fun times. Somewhat difficult game in parts when playing solo.

The recent laws in the UK and Australia were really meant to force people on the LBGT spectrum to out themselves to their governments for further discrimination. Protecting the children was never their intent.

It's an old strategy of reactionary policies. To claim something impacts children, who ethically are considered to be deficient in making complex and lasting decisions.

Often used as a veil IMO to hide overt prejudice. Applying policies and tactics aimed not at logic and rationale, but to appeal to the public's baser instincts. Often why insurers don't want to go to trial when children are involved.

Do you mean the laws that remove online anonymity?

Those are an "own goal". The fallout will be interesting, and might be useful.

By the way - they'll get this on a large scale too:

The picture at the top is testing for C-19, but example that best matches removing online anonymity is the third one.

Won't people use VPNs or will they make that illegal. Won't people use the dark web which is a gateway to hell. Children will outsmart technologically illiterate politicians every day of the week.
The age restriction thing is not effective, even without a VPN. So no benefit and just a pain to lawful citizens. Just make the internet illegal for under 16s, except in schools and libraries.
I got 8,500 steps in this morning before I went to work. Now the plantar fasciitis in my right foot is starting to act up.

You may need special shoe inserts if you have plantar fasciitis. I know you have little money, but you might see if you can get to a sporting goods store, sometimes they sell good inserts at reasonable prices. I don't want foot pain to derail your goal.
I see there is a gay meetup in Seattle this Sunday at a restaurant. I think I will try to make it.

People feel more detached, everybody is just striving to stay alive, pay their bills, and most people stay on their phones, limiting actual connections. Friends can be hit or miss.
