  • Typical. Just when I'm about to go to bed, one of bookshelves has just collapsed.

That sounds very stressful. Hope you were able to sleep after that unpleasant surprise.
I heard they just resurrected the dire wolf species. Jurassic Park may not be far off.

Other words, the return of the dire wolf could be a step towards the return of some dinosaurs and such that might put us in a dire situation.😳

They did? How sci-fi! Does that mean we don't have to worry about extinctions from global warming I wonder 🤔

    thejuice
I guess they'd be loads of extinctions we wouldn't even know about
I hate when the temperature drops drastically. I hope it rises just as quickly.

I personally am not opposed to the cold. But a surprise cold snap can definitely be annoying. Especially of you plan on gardening, or are currently gardening.
After all that rain, some places are seriously flooded. I hope the people all right. Stay safe, everyone.
Listening to songs without the lyrics hits different.

Are you talking about music that has been stripped of its lyrics, or those that were released as instrumentals?

I know a song that was instrumental, first.

Andy Williams added lyrics in 1967.

(It actually started off as a jingle for Diet Pepsi.)
I both hate and love being indecisive.

Yeah. Being indecisive is painful. Though sometime it's fun to be indecisive because either it gets picked for you, or you can take a break from the thought til you are sure.
There's a few constants in this world, and one of them is taxes.

That's true, yet how would your country evolve without them?

"The only real guarantee in life is that one day it will end. None of us are in this world for very long before we realise that we have arrived with our return ticket already punched." - Terry Pratchet.

@Levelskid I beg to differ. Taxes are not constant. Sometimes they increase.😂
Well, it's officially been a year since I've been on this site. It's strange because it feels just like yesterday.

It's a strange feeling, isn't it? Feeling you have been here for a shorter time, but seeing the opposite.

Anyway. Congratz on one year~ <3

I saw my neighbors dog hang out with their cat, so I guess cats and dogs can be best friends.

We had two small dogs and two cats. The dogs followed around the cats like a train. The dogs wanted the catnip, the string cheese sticks, the butter small bites we gave in the winter, and little saucers of milk we put out for treats. Both cats and dogs enjoyed whipped cream also.

Dogs and cats can be friends, cats and rats can be friends too, believe it or not :)
Apparently, night owls make more money and tend to be smarter than early birds. Good night.
Ever had trouble focusing on tasks?

yep theres a whole self help movement around dopamine management (the motivation and focus neurochemical). Tech has hijacked our dopamine system, its all out of kilter.

Yes. It has been hard to focus for long at a time since my Dad's most recent tantrum and hearing some bad news about a family member in another town in the same day.
I wonder if being a late bloomer is common for autism.

I hope my next decade is going to be a great one! My dad said to me when I was a late teen, possibly early 20s that I'll be a late bloomer. Probably wasn't expecting this late, it takes multiple lessons for things to sink in properly. Hope he's around to see it

Sometimes, I feel like a crocus that doesn’t come out until the end of summer, but by then I am ready to endure the whole winter with my face smiling at the sun.
