  • Is it weird to carry a flashlight with you when your walking in the dark if only for security reasons?

Carrying some protection is good, even if it's just to make you feel safer.

At one point, I walked around late at night with a head lamp, so that I could see better. I quickly decided that it looked strange.

Ain't that what flashlights are for?

LED conversion of a classic aluminum MagLite.
A good solid maglite to the temple can change any attitude within arms length.
I'm not going to preach at you about force when I just bought a .38 but I would suggest you try pepper spray as well as your light, as it's an ideal defensive arm in a lot of situations.
Ever had people try to press your buttons just because you don't react like neurotypical people would?

Yeah, yesterday at the plant at work! Same guy who usually starts stuff. He's been warned as well by the boss because I took the morning's crop of nonsense and explained it to people way on up the food chain.
Ever had a friend that came out to you as autistic?

Yep, happened twice for me, that I had friends tell me they think they are autistic, in neither case was I surprised:)
Does anybody else have this experience where your senses get crossed?

Ever spent the entire day researching random stuff for no reason?

I don't think it's ever lasted an entire day. But I can go down the rabbit hole for an hour or 2.

Guilty as charged. Sometimes a combination of curiosity and perseverance.

    Is this bad?

    I don't think so.
Personal opinion: Kids should be taught basic computer literacy and coding as soon as they start school.

Coding seems a bit niche in my opinion. IT lessons lasted 5 years at my school in UK and I finished school 22 years ago.

I know that nowadays tablets and computers are much more prevalent in educational settings.

I agree. I taught myself how to code.
Do you ever agitated when someone rakes the leaves in a haphazard manner, leaving a trail of leaves still on the ground?

Me? No, never. My OCD? Always. ;)
Do you ever find it weird that stores always skip Thanksgiving decorations and go straight for the Holidays decorations?

I find it endlessly annoying, honestly.

Marketing. Who spends lots of money over hints and thoughts of Thanksgiving other than a turkey? Christmas? -Kaching!
Does anybody else just love crunching the leaves under your feet?

I love all the different sensations under my feet, the heat of bitumen in the sun, the coolness of grass, the softness of sand and the foot massage you get from gravel. I hate wearing shoes.

Yes, if I see a leaf that looks crunchy I like stepping on it

Sometimes, you look around and think that you're really alone even in a crowd, and feel that no one would truly understand you...
Sometimes, your mind won't allow you to sleep...

Ah yes. Those nights where the brain goes into maximum overdrive and decides that 'sleep is for the weak'.
Well, tomorrow's going to be very busy...Driving at night is a pain, especially when the streetlights are down.
