I was reading some comments about being single but they were not good as many were about how people were complaining how the men were single because when they tried to approached women they were mean to them.

Never listen to those kind of opinions.
A majority of those women, if not all, are young and most likely don't know what they want either.
They are a very loud, vocal minority.
