I always liked lychees, very similar to the locuts that we had growing in the back yard when I was a kid.

A lot of people think they're weird but I will eat pretty much anything lol. Dragonfruit is one of my absolute favorites too.

A lot of people grow dragonfruit up in Darwin. A lot of people there also use the Indonesian name for it - Pataya. That can get confusing though, there's another common fruit in the tropics called Pawpaw and the Indonesian name for that is Papaya.

I love papaya! I lived in Hawaii for a while and the papaya there was so damn good. It does not taste anywhere near as good in the mainland US and neither does pineapple.

There's a lot of women's cosmetic products that proudly state they contain Pawpaw, now you know what it is you're putting on your face - Papaya.

I grew my own pineapple once, so much sweeter and tastier than the ones in the shops.

At the Chinese market they have Salmon Skins. They're just like Pork Rinds, but made from Salmon. OH MY GOODNESS.. They are addictive! So very expensive. One little bag is like ten dollars, but it's so worth it.

I actually have salmon skin dog food! It is expensive but it has a lot of good vitamins in it for my dogs.
I also have papaya skin products, they smell amazing and they feel really good.

I'm also a big fan of Pawpaw Salad as it's known here. Quite spicy. The Pawpaw is a funny fruit like many others in the tropics, when it's green it's a vegetable, when it's ripe it's a fruit.

I will have to check that out!
It's so funny to me that a lot of people assume I would be a picky eater, but usually for me, the more exotic the food is, the better lol
