Every animal on earth relies on instinct to survive. How many times have you thought of something with your gut, gone against it, and looked back only to regret not listening to your instincts?

I actually can't remember this happening to me. I dont act on impulse and the few times i did i regretted it since it was a false alarm. I guess my instinct is to "survive by observing and mimicking other people" it is more like a defense mechanism as opposed to instinct. I rely on my experiences, not unfounded instinct.
