If there are any internal injuries I don't think they're serious. I'm still conscious obviously and I can walk (although painful.) But the fact that I have a headache and I'm nauseous and exhausted is concerning me.

I probably should have gone to the hospital in the morning when it happened but I didn't want to deal with it. It happened yesterday morning, rather (Jan. 4th) it is now the next day here. But I slept until about 9pm.

I hope there isn't anything serious. Keep us updated.

Thank you April. I will keep you updated. The most frustrating part for me is that I was supposed to work today and now I have to text my clients super early in the morning to tell them I've had an accident and I have to cancel.

Did you hit your head? What you describe fits my experience of mild concussion.

No, another friend just asked me the same thing... I fell right on my back and hip.
I have had concussions before though, I was an athlete for a lot of my life. One time I had a soccer ball kicked directly into my face from close range.
The stupidest injury I've ever had was a concussion from hitting my head on an open cabinet. Ouch.

At least you know it's not morning sickness. :)

If it was, I think I would be rich and famous, and revered as a saint, since I don't even have a uterus :tearsofjoy:

Prolonged sleep and rest after injury is common in the animal kingdom. We are no different. Hope all is well.
