It just occurred to me that I have not had a single bite to eat today.
I hate pain. Pain sucks. I am not a physical masochist. If physical pain gave me pleasure, I would be very happy right now - but it does not, and I am not.
Diagnosis is gout. I will survive. I just have to lay off my favorite foods.
Right foot is in a ton of pain, is red and swollen, I am going to a clinic directly after work today and a friend is driving me, I made it to the office OK on the bus but now it is just pure pain.
I am thinking of skipping the family Thanksgiving gathering this year. My sticky-fingered cousin and my narcissistic aunt will be there.
Parents who abuse their children, and then turn around and use chemical restraints on them when they start showing signs of displeasure at what is going on, should be imprisoned and stripped of their parental duties.
I am coming to realize that the job I have now is the first job I have had in my life where I am not seen as disposable and expendable.
I vow to live for my own approval. My own standards. My own values. No more will I be handled like clay unless I personally allow it. My boundaries come first. A man without value for his own boundaries is a man lost in life.
I am making buffalo wings for dinner. Complete with sides of fresh carrot and celery sticks, and blue cheese.
Does anybody want to play Diablo II or III with me tomorrow on the Xbox One to help out sick kids?
My life was wasted so far to the altar of a woman who wishes to keep me eternally infantilized and I have only myself to blame for that.

Back in the office five days a week for the next six months. They told me I was too important and valued to be working from home. Could be worse, but I hate the morning commute.
Stuck downtown because the last bus driver’s bus pass card reader was broken but he insisted it was my pass that was invalid. The pass worked half an hour ago on another bus. That driver is a jerk face.
I will be gaming in two 12-hour shifts this weekend in order to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital. Anybody want to play Xbox games with me during this time? -
