Tomorrow I'll be staying at a friend's place for 3 days. You may think "that's poor timing"; but it is this planned event that caused the burnout and I really don't want to sacrifice this event regardless of exhaustion so I will be crossing my boundaries a fair bit on purpose here. I'll update on the consequences too and whether it was worth it in the end.

Good luck. Just notice that over extending your capabilities can end in permanent disminish of them.

Your body can force you to never ever be able to cross your boundaries again.

A worthy sacrifice if it were to take place. Climb the peak once and break your legs or only ever stare at the mountains from afar. I pace myself, but some hurdles can't be made easier and just need to be crossed on strength and courage.

When I studied enginnering I learned about how steel work under stress. With a small stress its elastic and return to be ok after stress fade. With high stress it plastifies, and its no longer the same, nor can recover. And with many small stress cicles develop fatigue and cracks unexpectedly. Surprisingly humans mechanics are simmilar.
