@mysterionz it's the jewish new year and one of the most holy days of the year we spend a lot of time in services reflecting on the last year and praying that we can move forward onto the next one as the next big holiday after it is the day of atonement. 1/2

We also eat big meals full of sweet things (for a sweet new year) and spend lots of time with family. The round challah I mention is a round bread eaten to symbolize the roundness and cycle of every year. Thank you for asking! 1/2

looked up a pic of Challah and wow.. this looks really good. Google mentioned it’s eaten by AshkenaziJews on the Sabbath. Do all people that practice Judaism eat this bread or only certain subgroups of Jewish people?
