I can understand why you don't like them but they do perform a useful function by eating buzzy bitey things. To me, getting a money spider (half the size of a grain of rice) on me is good luck.

Hope you can get rid of it soon.

Oh no! Hopefully you can get rid of it also, without hurting it.

It's not going to do anything to you! :) So you can go to sleep. It's just gonna hunt some flies etc. If you don't like them in the house you can remove them with a wide-mouthed jar or glass, and a greeting card to slide between the glass and the surface you've cupped the glass over.

Or if you're too arachnophobic for that, maybe someone else can do that for you? I would, but my arms aren't long enough. ;) Probably MCT is in the same position - arms not long enough either!

PS: You call THAT a huge-ass? You should see an Australian Huntsman. Hairy and the size of the palm of my hand! :)

Comfort yourself with the fact that it's not a monster from Australia. :) And get the vacuum cleaner, have that on standby. Just in case you need it. And the spider is not interested in you at all, it won't hunt you down. Like those Australian monster spiders do. ;)

How did I know you were going to chime in here, @Forest Cat? ;)

I must be psychic... ;P

Oh spider where art thou, ass spider. Spider of gargantuan size.

Me too. Zero-tolerance for insects or arachnids inside my apartment unit. Outside in the desert anything goes. Coyotes, rattlers, rabbits, lizards etc. But inside? Nope-nope-nope.

I agree with Judge, if you see a coyote in your apartment, things have gone too far. :)

Closest I've seen them was about 100 yards from my living room balcony. Some of them can be quite cheeky among humans, but I suspect most of them are simply looking for a meal.

Bad for pet owners in particular.
