    Coping with change

It's never easy for me. I always play as many scenarios as possible in my head, usually instead of sleeping, and try to be ready for any potential issues. I check out the new environment using Google streetview so that I feel comfortable when I arrive. And take deep breaths. I'm not sure if that...

    Newest album cover

That looks really cool, catchy and effective. I assume you have a story or song for each of the figures? I'd love to hear it sometime. I've just done one for a single I'm about to release next month, but I like yours better.

Share some skills, talents, knowledge or hobbies that you have acquired over the years?

I write and perform music for my own and other's enjoyment. Sometimes I wish I'd been a professional musician, but when I read their biographies and hear how they were constantly ripped off by management and struggled to make any money, I am glad that it is just a hobby.

What is the Most Fantastic Experience You Have Ever Had?

I swam next to this amazing creature, a whale shark at Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia. The photo was taken by my partner and we were only a couple of metres away!

My latest song, some say it's sad

Thanks Luca, I really appreciate your feedback. Simon & Garfunkel were the first songs I played on guitar when I was about 7. :)

My latest song, some say it's sad

After coming home from an epic 3 month camping trip where we saw all of Australia, it took me 6 weeks to process my thoughts about how I felt after getting home. This song shows how comfortable I feel at home with a set routine, I don't think it's sad, as some say, just how I am. What do you...

    What is your travel style?

I agree Suzanne, actual travel is so stressful with the crowds of people. Google street view is great. I always use it to walk the streets virtually before going anywhere, as new places create great anxiety.

    Suddeness in anything

I was going into town with my partner, expecting to do the shops in a certain order, she told me she will go to another shop first and I had a mild panic attack and had to adjust my coping mechanism. I was glad she told me before just driving to the shop. Just things we have to deal with...

    Answers...

Ditto. At 54, now 65. A sudden dawning, "oh that's why I acted like that!". So yes, relief and sadness as mentioned. I struggled with friends and relatives not accepting or understanding it. I now have new friends and relatives (after divorce) who accept me as I am. That's life! Take care.

    Masking/Passing as NT

Yes, like a lot of others here in their 50s and 60s, not knowing about Aspergers, I masked/pretended to be what I wasn't because of fear of rejection, bullying etc. When I started work as a computer techie it fitted my personality perfectly, but as is usual in the world, if you are good at...

Hello, I am a newbie from Detroit

Hi Leo Zed, I understand your struggle with depression and meds. I was Dx'd with Aspergers in 2011 while doing teacher training, after working for 35 years as a computer nerd. My whole work life has been filled with an inability to communicate and depression was a common issue for me. After...

Autistic people with social anxiety - What are you afraid of or worried about?

I'm mainly afraid of people asking me how I feel about something, and not feeling comfortable saying that I don't know how I feel.
