    Are you understood?

I agree with zeros in my past professional life and current social life, but since I've been writing songs about my life experiences people do seem to get me. I truly believe that music can reach people where nothing else can. 🎸🎸

    Mixing / Mastering music

I also just use Audacity for all of my multichannel music recordings, I use a Steinberg UR22C interface for instruments and vocals. I did try an online mastering service called waves.com which gave quite good results, but I had to re-Eq all of my tracks before the pre-mastered levels were any...

    Married + late ASD1 diagnosis = problems

My story is fairly negative. I married at 24 (43years ago), always knew I was different but tried to be normal. When I couldn't be normal I was ridiculed which eventually made me bitter about the relationship. Counselling didn't help. After diagnosis, age 54, I was told that I was using my Dx as...

    Making a tagelharpa

That's fantastic, I'd love to do that, didn't know you could buy horse hair! I have made and repair guitars so I imagine that the intonation would be quite tricky. Do you use your ear to play in tune? Great project!! 🎸🎸

    Nachos survey!

I often have a pulled pork nachos at my bowling club, although the vege one is yummy too. I don’t really like corn chips but nachos makes them bearable!

    Noise problems

The thought of hearing someone good does block some of the unpleasantness. As a blues guitarist I'm struggling to understand how a cello concert could be loud! I always pack my earplugs for these occasions. 🎸🎸

    Noise problems

I just need to rant and clear my thinking. I was at a members dinner at my local bowling club, around 270 people attended. The noise from talking was quite unbearable, until they started eating! I found it hard to hear people just next to me and when I spoke they did not seem to understand me...

It's obvious that you're a parent that grew up in the 1980s if..?

From an older perspective, my kids were born in the 90s, I was in my late 30s. I used to sing/scat Miles Davis and Charlie Parker tunes to them as babies. They grew up to be pretty fine musicians, loving all styles of music, especially The Beatles. "H-h-hey Ringo!"

    World Spinning Weirdly

Like some of you I don't like to watch the corporate news channels, they are all politically biased, I read a few independent news pages. Politics is very worrying, even in Australia, but I'm more worried about the major world powers. It could be really disastrous. It doesn't help my anxiety...
