For those who are bilingual: one "personality" for each language?

Same ... Never thought of talking to my dog in German (he' probably just look at me weird). I am sure you are right that is the same for many people who have been living with a foreign language for a long time.

For those who are bilingual: one "personality" for each language?

I'm native German but moved to an English speaking country close to 20 years ago and for me there certainly is a different personality or persona attached to English. For the past 10 of those 20 years I barely spoke German at all anymore as there aren't really many people around that would...

    Are you a cuddly person?

Rarely need hugs, i don't mind them if they are with a partner, anyone else makes it weird. Not a snuggle person at all and in the past whenever I was with a partner that needed that level of closeness, it usually ended up being a bit of a challenge.

    Do you regret being diagnosed?

Reading your post is eerily familiar. Unfortunately I don't have answers to your questions (yet) and can't be of much help other than by saying that you are not alone with the questions, the journey and discovery. You came to the right place though - I've only been here a very short time myself...

Do you also need to listen to something all the time, always to the same stuff?

I have my list of songs that I listen to and I don't like surprises / unknown songs - Which also means most of my music is curated from many years ago. I also watch the same series when I go to bed - usually for a least a year or so every night, I have a number of docu series I like so I...

    The play script analogy

This is basically my work - I've for years jokingly referred to my "work persona" as a role I play, something I've trained for and learned to do. In my work I do need to do stuff like public speaking etc which I used to hate and by now just come to tolerate cause the role I play has had a lot of...

    Well hi

Thanks for the warm welcome! @Outdated / @Neri if it wouldn't be for the rest of the stuff that tries to kill you in Aus - i'd love it there and let's just say I'm not a big fan of creepy crawlies

    Well hi

hi all, I'm a 45yo guy who is currently awaiting assessment / diagnosis and my psychologist gave me a bit of homework to find some groups / forums etc so well .. here I am ;) I've been battling with depression for at least a decade and about 4 months ago started therapy and while I always knew...
