    Well, I used organic fertilizer when I planted them. That stuff is mostly bone meal, blood meal, ground chicken feathers and fish heads. I'm betting it was one of the smallish scavengers - raccoon, opossum - that imagined something tasty buried under the plant :) .

    Last week, I planted a couple of foxglove plants along the forest trail. Something has dug them up twice. I have replanted them twice. I have no idea which critter is doing this, but I hope they aren't eating any. Foxglove is very poisonous.
