    Knowing nothing about the individual, or the details of the situation, I wonder if the reluctance to look for work is at least partially the result of a bad work experience at the job he had to quit. It's likely that some gentle nudging (but definitely not forcing) might be necessary...

    List just one thing you did today

    I had to look up "morning glory muffins" because I thought they had actual morning glories (the flower) in them, which would make them slightly toxic. I had to take my truck to town for (I think) breaks.

    My S.B.L of the N. ( :) ) bloomed two perfect blooms today: These are famous because much of ancient Egyptian decorative art was based either on the papyrus plant, or these water lilies. Most of the blue tropical water lilies were bred from this wild form. I prefer the wild form.
