    Anyone else have comfort items?

My comfort item is my cell phone! It has to be always in reach even if I seldom use it.

    What Is Your Favorite Number?

    9. The day, month and year of my birth each adds up to nine and when they are added together they come to 9.

Found this "inofficial" checklist for Females with AS

I also flunked "innocent" and "confusion" -probably for the same reason.

Friends just don't seem to understand.

It's good to know that other people have exactly the same experience that I did when I told friends and relatives that I'd had a positive diagnosis for Asperger's. I found their refusal to believe it both disappointing and extremely irritating

    irrational fears

Me too, Saragirl! I'm better than I was but I'm still cautious when using them - particularly some modern ones which don't have a flattened area to get on..

Movie Watching, Do You Become A Part?

I become so involved that it takes a long time for me to come back to reality. Not so much watching a DVD in my own home, probably because I'm more aware of my surroundings than in the darkness of a cinema.

Do you find this scene funny?

I don't find it funny. Maybe it works in the context of the movie.

The dreadful, annoying, "how are you?"

For me what's worse than "How are you?" is "Are you all right?"

Do You Feel Like An Alien?

The OP and Garnetflower have expressed exactly how I've felt all my life. It's such a relief to have discovered that I'm not alone.
