    Tezzo, here, introducing myself (he/him/his)

LOL love the Dr. Spock joke. Now more than ever do I value the Vulcan philosophy of Infinite Diversity Infinite Combinations. (You may notice that he is wearing the IDIC medallion in this photo).

    Tezzo, here, introducing myself (he/him/his)

Welcome! I just joined the forums a few days ago after a few months of lurking. It wasn't too long ago that I was feeling the exact same way...like finally finding the manual to myself after so much confusion.

What video game are you currently playing?

I am currently playing No Man's Sky, Star Trek Prodigy, and Spyro on my Nintendo Switch. I go back and forth between playing No Man's Sky every free moment I have, and then hating it for weeks because it becomes tedious. Repeat repeat repeat.

    Reestablishing routines

One thing that helps me reestablish routines after something disruptive comes along is setting alarms for when I want to do the routine. For example, if in routine, I am asleep at 10:30, but my bedtime routine starts at 9:15 and so I set an alarm that reminds me to get started on the bedtime...

    University life is overwhelming

I was in the humanities, so probably a very different experience with how the coursework is laid out. I can imagine that 4 hours of chem while socializing is not easy! Are there any breaks offered during the 4 hours?

    University life is overwhelming

I EDITED THIS A LOT AFTER INITIALLY POSTING I did not have a diagnosis in college so was not able to understand what was going on with me. I struggled so much! In the beginning, I found college to be so much better than high school. I majored in a subject I was obsessed with and really enjoyed...

    This place is awesome

Haha it's awesome that you and Spock both like black cats. Thank you for welcoming me! I am on the younger side in my late 20s, but TOS is by far my favorite Star Trek and Spock will always be my favorite character.

    This place is awesome

This is LITERALLY my favorite William Shatner spoken word. I once had the opportunity to meet Shatner, and I asked him to sign my poster with "Rock it man." He refused lol. Wow, this place is really awesome. The vast majority of people have never understood my love of that video.

Haha, thanks for sharing! I had no idea! It's hilarious that it predated Star Trek too.

    This place is awesome

To add a random fact about my username: It is the name of a Star Trek fanzine. You can download all of them here for free from Texas A&M if you are into that kind of thing. Some of it is hilariously raunchy and does make me a bit uncomfortable, but it is mostly awesome.

Hi there! It has been a while since I have introduced myself in any forum, so I'm not sure what exactly to say. After intense lockdowns during the pandemic, I was never able to return to normal like my peers. The contrast between us became undeniable. The social rules I had drilled into myself...
