    Music You Love

    The name of the band is Meat Puppets - a favorite of mine. In Nirvana's famous appearance on MTV Unplugged, that's the Kirkwood brothers from the Meat Puppets playing with them . There's a great version of Lake of Fire.

    Trying to lose 80lbs this year.

    I found it very helpful to weigh myself first thing in the morning. It helped me focus on what did I consume in the last 24 hours and what effect did it have on my weight. At first I recorded the daily weights on a calendar, which helped me develop my awareness.

    Logic or Intuition?

    I've learned a lot of things by building a decision tree in my head. Every time I learn something new, the decision tree gets updated. After years of practice, I can do it fast enough that it seems like intuition, even though in reality I'm doing the aspie thing of details, details, details.

    I'll second that - I was about to post something similar. If you have the impression you can trade from your PC and get rich ... you can't. You can't beat the guys on Wall Street on a regular basis. Much better for a beginner is to put your money in a fund that is managed by one of those guys on...
