Can we replace the puzzle piece 'logo'?

Thank you for all your inputs! I understand why you like it, but I do not agree. I don't think there's anything puzzling about autism. We're not mysterious, missing pieces or needing to be solved/put together. (Or not fitting in anyway for that matter) Also there's something about the...

Can we replace the puzzle piece 'logo'?

I don't like the puzzle piece because it does not make any sense to me. Also sometimes they use it to symbolise that autistic people are missing something - which they indeed are not!

Can we replace the puzzle piece 'logo'?

As many others, I do not like the puzzle piece. And the fact that 'autism speaks' use is doesn't make it better.. I really want to spread autism awareness but I refuse to use the puzzle piece. Is there any other opportunity? Or can we (autistic people) make a new One? Please come with...

No treatment for anxiety/OCD because of my autism?

I've been on antipsychotic medication before but after a week they refused to pescripe me more. And again, the excuse was my autism. "You're not psychotic. You only hallucinate because you're stressed"

No treatment for anxiety/OCD because of my autism?

Thank you for your replies! I've been to three different psychiatrists and the answer is always the same. It is written several times in my mental health journal that I have social anxiety, agoraphobia, and other severe phobias, intrusive thoughts, compulsive traits (and also a lot other things...

    Feeling of belonging after diagnosis?

It reacted just opposite! I was really, really happy and relieved at first. I felt like I belonged and like a lot of things finally made sense. But then I realised that this was forever. There was no treatment except for structure and self insight. Everything felt hopeless. Now, 6 months...

How to make a space more "Aspie Friendly"

For me its a big help having a place for everything. If I don't, my room will be a mess! And as everyone says: comfy lightning! I prefer warm yellow ish light and lightchains/fairy lights Maybe a big whiteboard or something like that to organise everything?

    Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?

I have severe anxiety and OCD, but my psychiatrists refuses to give me the diagnose because of my autism. I actually didn't though you could be diagnosed with both?

No treatment for anxiety/OCD because of my autism?

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but i think it 'affects' every kind of autism and not just PDD-NOS) As someone might know I'm diagnosed with something similar to PDD-NOS. The last year my anxiety and OCD have gotten a lot worse, to the point where there are loads of things i can't do...
