How are your relations with your non-aspie siblings?

Terrible. Mostly because my AS caused so many problems when I was younger , it likely affected my siblings the most as far as me venting my frustrations. I can start feeling pretty guilty when I think back to my behaviour.

    How alien do you feel?

I don't have a whole lot in common with the people I work with. I hate being labeled as " quiet " when in reality I am just not very interested in the topics of discussion. There is a part of me that wishes I could have a been a family man but I realize it was likely for the best as I don't...

    Are you "not normal"?

You should read The Girl With The Drafon Tattoo , pretty cool book and Lisbeth Salander is a very interesting character.

Top 40 of the best (of the worst) Shark Movies...

Jaws is one of my favourite movies and the shark has very little to do with it . The friendship and camaraderie and animosity expressed by Brody , Quint and Hooper made the movie .

any fiction books with an aspie character?

Lisbeth Salander is a very interesting character .

    Is anyone hyposexual?

I wish that I was . It would take away the deep longing that I have for a romantic relationship. I suppose I don't put as much value in companionship as the general population and would likely be very content with a part time relationship but the strong desire for a romantic relationship is...

    I Hate Winter

I like winter although I would rather a minimal amount of snow . I am someone who hibernates by nature anyway and I like cold , dry weather . Walking in the winter is one of my favourite activities as long as it isn't windy . I am also a fanatical Boston Bruins fan so without a Bruins game to...

    Work at home Jobs?

I would love to work from home but not sure it is a realistic option .

Do Aspies Have A Sense of Humor?

If someone tells a traditional joke I almost always never get it , or if I do ,it is after a lot of thought. My humour is very dry and subtle and not everyone gets it but those that do think I could be a comedian .

    Social awkwardness

I don't engage in gossip as I have learned that what you say has the potential to get back to the individual you are gossiping about. In general , I have always been a quiet person but am likely even quieter because I know how damaging it can be if you don't weigh your words carefully.

Falling in "lust" again - #blurredlines

Perhaps the fantasies are a result of crashing and burning so often in attempts to establish a romantic connection . In my case I have to make better decisions on who to focus on and developing a much more direct approach .

Falling in "lust" again - #blurredlines

Relax . Maybe it is part of having AS but I am the same way . My read on flirting is just terrible .

    Friendly or flirting?

Her approach was borderline harassment. It was obvious he wasn't interested, perhaps he should have found another seat earlier on in the encounter.

Is it normal for people with high functioning autism not to be very smart?

I am not sure if people with HFA are smarter than average. I know personally I have a much narrower range of interests so I always know subjects that I like in great detail.
