    Substance misuse

Apparently the medication "Naltrexone" helps some people. Heard about it in a podcast. No idea about side effects and all that though.

Problem with finding a job and running a YouTube channel

One of my favourite YouTubers (he's on Twitch too) never looks at his comments at all. I don't think he explained why very explicitly, but I can imagine why, even though most of the comments are positive. Negative comments, like the one you received, often come from immature trolls, toxic...

    Navigating the Chaos

Chaos. Society says you should do this. I agree. My mind and body say no, but not before allowing me to get my hopes up to intensify the disappointment afterwards. Okay: improvise, adapt, overcome. I try to do that instead. My mind and body say maybe, but first let's do something more...

    Dad Jokes

Why did the Invisible Man turn down the job offer? He couldn't see himself doing it.

Are you an older adult that feels somewhat marginalized and at times gaslit by medical personnel?

My GP is definitely a drug pusher. Interesting idea to just go to the emergency department. Unfortunately where I live you'd probably be waiting 48 hours to be seen properly unless you were dying or something. A while back I wanted to get a cholesterol test, so I just booked one at a...

Why “Struggling” in Math Isn’t About Intelligence

Might be more of an ADHD thing, but the textbooks and the way it tends to be taught are both incredibly boring, generally speaking.

Do you agree that Technology is going too far?

Where I live, you need to get a new ID card in order to do/get certain things, and to make it easier to do/get other things. Apparently these ID cards are extremely vulnerable to ID theft, data breaches and all that. Luckily for me I have a phobia of dealing with those government types...

    Women struggle too

I did a computing course once and there was a very autistic girl there. She wasn't the most popular girl in the class or anything, but she was treated well and people listened to her talking about her special interests. Other places that might be more tolerant... board-gaming groups? Comic...

I am gay and I hate it when people ask me this question.

Lol, there's no wrong answer, but it seems like a reasonable one!

I am gay and I hate it when people ask me this question.

I'm a straight man, and a girl I knew once asked me something like, which famous man would I sleep with. I didn't take any offence, maybe because she often asked questions like which famous woman do you think is most attractive etc. I suspect she was bisexual but never called herself that...

Who here has tryed cbd gummys and what did you think of the cbd gummys

I tried CBD a few times (in a liquid form of some kind I think). The main effect was to make me feel overly tired, and the tiredness didn't go away too quickly, so not for me.
