    Plane friendly stim toys

UPDATE So in case anyone was interested... these are the toys I took in my hand luggage. The silly putty I put in my zip lock liquids bag just in case. Nothing was questioned by security. I travelled from Australia to Rome with stop overs in Japan and Helsinki. Fingers crossed I have no return...

    Plane friendly stim toys

I do have a plastic one but i don't seem to get the same satisfaction using them as everyone else does... might be cos NTs can use them so it's not specific enough for me! I thought about it cos i have one but decided to take the cube instead. More variety.

    Plane friendly stim toys

Thanks for that. I feel better. I think i have stretchy snakes or something that will work. It's a bugger my go to stim toys are so unfriendly! I prefer the feel of squishy liquid and metal spikes but no way will i risk losing those at security. I'll have to start using the ones I'm planning to...

    Plane friendly stim toys

I have lots with liquid in them. They rebound quicker than foam. In some the liquid is in lots of little balls within the squishy. I'm concerned that even if they pass security they might explode in flight or warp in some horrendous way. I thought about taking a stress ball but i have no idea...

"Pass" as in let me take it? I'm going to try with my back up putty just in case. Sacrificial putty ;)

    Plane friendly stim toys

That's what I'm worried about. Metal, liquid, squishy whatnots.... it got overwhelming cos i can see each of them potentially being used as or a disguise for possible weapons. I know; a squishy dinosaur or unicorn taking over the plane, how ridiculous... but what if some nutter had c4 in it not...

    Plane friendly stim toys

Thanks for all the replies!!! I prefer squishy things and something hard with spikes, but I'll look for a hard plastic instead of metal. I also have some spinner rings I forgot I had (I cycle through stim toys), so thanks for the reminder! I'm going to try to take a mini putty (not my...

    Plane friendly stim toys

I have a mini metal slinky I'd like to take but thought it would be confiscated due to being metal and 'sharp metal ends'.... I have a fidget cube I'll be taking :D

    Plane friendly stim toys

I'm worried that if I take some of my stim toys on international flight in on board cabin they will be confiscated at security. I have no evidence they will and have googled for possible restrictions. But does anyone know of any restrictions placed on stim toys by airlines? Is putty a no-go...

    Who else keeps computer muted?

Haha I do this too! Mute everything!! It's a skill to get the microwave to stop at one second :p and I pop the toaster before it goes off and gently hold the lever to stop the beep. My computer is always on mute. Can't stand websites with auto music  Phone is mute except for ring which...

    Driver license

I did drivers ed in school and was quite good at it. I was undiagnosed aspie back then. My parents had such issues instructing my older sister (NT) they flat out refused to take me for lessons. What little confidence I had was squashed. I was 19 when I paid for my own lessons and got my license...

Chemical sensitivities, reactive airways, skin issues, etc

I developed sensitivities to chemicals and dyes a few years ago. Had to switch out detergents and cosmetics etc. I tried goat milk and soy based and honey based formulas each with limited success. I found Dr Bronner castile soap unscented caused no reaction. You can make your own castille...
