    Your first job

My first job was in a cafe. I hated it and quit after about 6 months. My second job was better, working at a TV station in the transmission room. I stayed for 3 years and worked my way up to directing all broadcast/on air programming. I loved it!

What do you think of animals?

I love all animals, but my cat Dex is my best pal. We go for walks and long drives in the car together and he follows me around the house everywhere. I would love to get dogs and a horse one day too.

    What are your sensory issues?

Quite a few for me: Touch, I don't like being touched by people I don't know well, and even with people I do know well, if it's unexpected, it burns. I can't touch corduroy or velvet, and I can't walk on dry sand. I also don't like slimy things or raw meat, but I'm trying to desensitize myself...

    hello

Thanks everyone. I have joined a group for people with aspergers at my local autism branch, which has been great. Still trying to find a specialist who can diagnose me without me having to pay loads of money.

    hello

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm in the process of being diagnosed for Asperger's. It is such a relief to know what's wrong with me! Or should I say... what's right with me!
