Why do military members move so often?

Military troops are moved around to different jobs every two years or so and makes no sense. And they are moved into jobs that are totally different. Does it have to do with corruption and power? I worked for USAF a few years as a citizen and the military members I worked with were insecure and...

    Mocking people

That's the problem with the world. Adults act no different than teenagers and we'll get nowhere if it continues.

    Gabapentin and Autism

It was supposed to be a wonder drug when it came out useful for many things including bipolar disorder. I took it for migraines and needed to keep upping the dose because it stopped working. When I was in the hospital the dr gave it to me for insomnia and did nothing.

Strange and weird films from long ago

Rosemary's Baby was weird. So was Edgar Allan Poe's The Mask of Red Death (I think). TB was very prominent during Poe's time and that's what it's about.

I bicycled 40 km in a single day in Östersund northern Sweden with little to no food or water during early summer a few years ago

When is summer in Sweden? I watch a lot of travel shows in scandanavia and Norway and looks beautiful.

What's wrong with saying "mild" or "severe" autism?

I was much better around people and functioned better before becoming a teen. Then something hit me at 14 and couldn't talk or function well. It caused tremendous anxiety. Been on disability most of my life. My mother's family all had severe mood disorders and I followed.

Useful Aspergers Syndrome / Autism Links, Articles and Resources

If a person doesn't talk much does that mean there's a problem? I couldn't talk from the age of 14 because I couldn't feel anything and think I was dissociating. Then some stupid Johns Hopkins Resident told me I had asbergers and didn't explain it or tell me how to get help! That hospital was a...

When do parents stop acting like parents?

My parents impose their social philosophy on me. Like my dad believes in letting certain things roll off your back and believes that arguing is wrong and try to laugh at everything. I think that you need to argue sometimes in order to solve issues and move ahead. He refuses to argue or complain...

Do you like zombies in movies?

I was in a horrible psych hospital in Philly and the patients watched this terrible TV show with zombies killing each other. I couldn't believe it.

What was the last movie you watched?

Monty Python and holy Grail. Silliest movie ever made. Very funny.

    Can't enjoy myself

I don't know why I just realized all this stuff about me this year. It's taken me my whole life to figure this stuff out. Drs and psychologists certainly couldn't figure it out in 90s when I was very sick. I think I've had anhedonia so bad since I was 14 that I dissociate and have trouble...

    Any TECH. themed (sleep) dreams?

I worked for USAF for four years in NM working with rocket sleds and I got criticized by everyone because I couldn't hold a conversation and my last supervisor treated me lousy because my projects were failing. Last few months I have this dream that I go back to work at this place and don't run...

The last thing that made you laugh

In another forum there was a thread on "What would you say to a deceased family member?" and some guy answered "How does dirt taste?" That's the funniest thing I've heard.

    Medical Marijuana

I never had problems when I smoked.

    How come help doesn't exist?

You wouldn't believe the abuse and ignorance I've had last 40 years. I told everyone last 10 years I was diagnosed asbergers and they ignored me. I've been to "best" hospitals in US and they were a joke. My last Dr almost killed me several times and didn't care. I saw one sick Dr 30 years ago...
