    I did quite a lot of temp work, too. I enjoyed that. One thing I like about it is, you never get too embroiled in workplace gossip.

    Some people are going to be slower workers than others, and may also make more mistakes. Do you have any problems with attention deficit? (ADHD or ADD, or just your own observations.) If you did have ADHD, medication might make you a more productive worker. Have you ever explored that?

    I'm sorry for these losses. It's natural and healthy to feel sad about it. When things settle down again, you can hope to have another delightful companion animal. They enrich our lives so much.

    Somebody said it's dangerous to cook from a chair. Maybe so, but I cook from a scooter all the time. It sits just a little higher than a wheelchair. I don't have any trouble and have never been hurt doing it. I do drop a lot of stuff on the floor, though! If you want to participate in food...

    I avoid this kind of response by not telling anybody I'm autistic - although I am medically diagnosed. It's nobody's business, and risks a lot of misunderstanding.

    I'm relieved that it was just ads that you felt attacked by. The title of this thread made me worried that someone had been trolling or something. In general, this is one of the nicer forum sites I have participated in.

    The Results are in...

    I hope this will help you in your day to day life. Both of my kids have used Ritalin and/or Adderall and it does help them focus. I'm kind of jealous, all I have is coffee.
