How would an Aspie fair with Copywriting and Advertising?

I run a small marketing agency & we do copy and content for ourselves and customers, and I train customers on blogging & optimisation. I like content and copywriting, and I'm good at it but it takes practice and training. The pay for freelancers is ok, and we pay around $70 USD for about 1000...

    Different Kinds of Food Issues

I'm not fussy, but I am strict. I love spicy, exotic food, but I hate food that's not cooked perfectly. If I cook rice or pasta, eggs, toast I will make sure it's perfect, and I'll often avoid those things at other people's houses as they are usually all wrong. I need to have fixed breakfasts...

    Autism and ADHD

I've had Ritalin, and some other "non - prescribed" ;) stuff. They don't work well for me. I get super motivated, but just end up bouncing around not able to be productive, then get a crash in the afternoon. I just don't agree with the official line "you have ADHD - here's some stims"...

Bad. It means that you need more to get the same effect as time goes on. Your body is in homeostasis. This is basically like a see saw that is always perfectly balanced with weight on each side. If you add a drug that increases something like dopamine (Ritalin, Adderall etc), then one end of...

    Autism and ADHD

Well, doctors might think they are. I don't though, and if you read on ADHD forums you'll find people coping with tolerance, which is down regulated receptors. It can be managed by only taking them occasionally, or cycling them, but most people get told to take them every day.

    Autism and ADHD

I don't take the normal stimulants - I've tried and they didn't work well. Also NOT a long term solution. I read somewhere that almost all studies where over just months or a few years for stims. They are virtually guaranteed to downregulate dopamine receptors, making the problems worse in the...

    Autism and ADHD

I am diagnosed with ASD, and ADHD combined. To me ASD is my brain type with both positives and negatives, ADHD is a layer on top that mostly just gets in the way. It possibly has made me more social than if I were ASD alone though. ADHD is more controllable as it's more about (in my opinion)...

    Trying to "engineer" life

That sounds like one of those remarks that people use, but no one actually sticks to. "Take life as it comes." So basically do nothing but dodge the incoming arrows, and try to have a little bit of fun on the way. That's basically for people who have given up on their lives in some way, or...

What strength patches are you on? I'm finding the gum better, but it's more risky, so I'd prefer to just have patches.

Noopept is related to piracetam, but it's not actually a racetam . I think the mechanisms are similar, but it's 1000 times stronger than piracetam. I take about 20mg two or three times a day, with a bit of bromantane.

That's very interesting. I learnt to control meltdowns when I was a teenager, although I thought at the time it was just anger that always ended in a fight. Maybe there is some internalized meltdown going on. Thanks, I'll think about that.
