    Memory issues

Yes, I got it, but I'm guessing it's very different for each person. Anyhow, I'll talk with my doctor or another doctor about it and see what they'll tell me!

    Memory issues

I guess I could do it. I've never done a brain scan but I'm not claustophobic. I get anxious with any examination but I guess I could handle it. This must be soooo cool!!! Hell, I can't even picture myself! Yeah, you're right about the trauma and probably has messed me up big time but I don't...

    Memory issues

Thank you for the replies so far! @Streetwise even though it's early for me, I can relate. @WittyAspie people are telling me "you have to exercise your brain as you get older", and even though this is true, I don't think it has to do anything with my case. I think it has something to do with...

    Memory issues

My memory works in a weird way! I attended this photography lessons 2 years ago and I have absolutely no memory of me being there, but I know a lot of things about dslr! I don't have images in my head. I can't even picture my mother. Sometimes, for a split second I forget everything and question...

How do you hold a pen or pencil when handwriting?

There's a right and wrong way to use a fork? o.0 why? I mean, for me, if she gets the job done, then it's the right way! I remember I was about 10, I was at this restaurant and was holding the fork with my left hand (I'm lefthanded) and this old guy walks in and says "you're holding the fork...

How do you hold a pen or pencil when handwriting?

That's the way I hold my pen/pencil. I also put a lot of pressure and lately my thumb is killing me. Also, I'm lefthanded and my handwriting is terrible! I'm not sure though why there's a "proper way" to hold a pen. Do what suits you best.

Should Aspies/Autistics get priority at the Doctor's?

Agreed. I'm trying to convince people that there's nothing wrong with being an Aspie, we're just different, not disabled. I really hate it when people treat me differently. If they gave me priority I would be disappointed. Rich Allen, I hope you get well soon!

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

Actually this is one of the few movies that made me cry! This scene was not at all funny to me, I don't know about other people.

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

Also, a major problem (at least in my country) is that math, physics and chemistry teachers are not required to take any pedagogic or psychology courses. This teacher should know better. It's her job to know but it's not her fault that she doesn't.

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

Oh god! These comments made me laugh so hard!!! You're all right. It must be some sort of mechanism to avoid sadness or any bad feeling. I even laugh when I'm physically hurt.

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

Yeah, that's what I used to say and apparently, that's pretty much what the student tells this teacher I was talking to. She said "he just tells me he remembered something". I've no idea why this would be creepy, but then again I've no idea about anything NTs say!

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

In many cases, it's something really irrelevant or embarrassing, or I just remember something funny we said earlier. So I can't say those things! Thanks for replying!

    Laughing at 'the wrong time'

Do you ever find yourselves laughing in situations you shouldn't? I have been doing this my whole life. It never really bothered me, until recently. Let me explain. I was talking to this NT teacher recently, who doesn't know I'm on the spectrum, and she told me that she has this student who is...
