    Actually, I set him up (registered him), but he's a bit apprehensive. I think if he'd find a pen pal, it would be great, a great start. Just don't know how to get him to that point.

    Because they don't understand him. I've tried to encourage his dad at least to interact, but since my son is "not normal", difficult to "carry a conversation", "strange...."

    I visit him two to three times a week. I'd love to find a group where we both can attend and have a fellowship of sorts or whatever.

    His dad does not allow him to visit him. So he hasn't seen his dad in over 5 years.

    My son is 44 and diagnosed at approximately 29. I would the only one that know something was different.

    Because they find him "strange." Do not live up to their expectations. I'm trying to connect him with other people. He's so lonely.

    I am very close to my son and want to help him in all ways possible. He has no friends and no family members that will interact with him. I find him interesting and loving.
