Past week now I have a pulled muscle on left side of my chest because I fell off my bike. Coughing just….. hurts…

Ouch! I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Starting to feel better now but early this morning while it was still dark it felt like somebody had just dropped a house on my chest..
Fun fact: If you feed a raven or crow, they may leave something shiny for you, although they become aggressive if you don't feed them consistently.

That said, some individual birds have been observed leaving small objects (bones, bits of metal, bottle caps) near people who feed them. This is rare and not intentional gifting in the human sense - it's more likely coincidence, play, or caching behavior.

Also they don't expect food on a schedule. But if birds associate a location with food, they may vocalize loudly and hang around persistently

That isn't aggression or revenge - it's learned expectation, like pigeons waiting near a park bench.

Training any wild animal to come to you for food is a very bad idea, they do get more aggressive if the feeding stops and it also encourages them to forget their natural instincts. More and more areas in Australia are banning the feeding of wild animals and the fines aren't small.

I have to say that the non alcoholic Heinekin is pretty good.

You should get into brewing Kombucha. You can get it to an acidity or dryness you like. Jun is kombucha made with green tea and honey instead of black tea and sugar. Jun kinda hits like beer. A lot of head, and very dry with a little sweetness. If you add hops to the tea, it really does taste like beer. Plus you get those happy belly probiotics.
There are about 8 squirrels (hard to count squirrels in a gob) that race out of the forest directly to the peanuts I put out on the deck every morning. They take the exact same route every time. There's now a rut in the snow 8 inches deep between two trees that weren't close enough to jump between.
I have a little bird (outside) that wakes me up on time. It's like having a personal alarm.

Aussie birds make a lot of noise and there's nothing personal about it. Here's a short clip of the sounds we wake up to in mornings, to us these are the sounds of home.
