What Will Climate Change Do To You?

It can be hard to take in the idea of climate change if you see little of it's effects around you. The effects of climate change are not spread evenly around the world. Some parts of the world are mostly colder than normal while other parts of the world are much warmer. In order to get an idea of how climate change is affecting the earth, you will have to pay some attention to what is happening out of your area. Many important newspapers all over the world offer English versions. You can easily sample what is going on in the world as a whole by looking at the English versions of news about weather from other parts of the world.

I have found some news services around the world that I like to look at occasionally, that you might try to see if you like them ok. If you disagree with my choices there are plenty of other options.

Here are a few links to news services:

BBC Weather

DW Environment | DW.COM

Planet Earth - Science - PravdaReport

Very different viewpoints are reflected in the choice of international news services so that one may form one's own conclusions by comparing sources. There are times when the number of choices of news sources here may be be inadequate. An example is the BBC news. Sometimes it is better to look at another UK news source that tends to express different views than the BBC. I would not like to say that a particular news source lies, but the thinking of the people in charge of that news service, may filter everything through a certain way of thinking and another news service from even the same country will have a very different filter.

It is not at all necessary to look at all of these news sources every day or even very often, but it is a good idea to check on them once in a while in order to find the truth as you perceive it. This is especially so for something as important as climate change. It doesn't hurt to look at other subjects besides climate change from various news sources. A good example to consider is what they think of the chances are of having a nuclear war in the near future. This particular subject can be very eye opening when you try different news services about it.

Please go forth and find some truth about climate change.
