I know we are way beyond the lovey dovey stage & have had a non-sexual friendship for 4-5 years. Though she has a temper when tired & might say unkind things, she really cares for me. Plus she's the most excellent cook I've ever met! And having been a professional photographer I've eaten in some fancy places.
For varied reasons we still see & talk to each other. Many deep thanks to my ex-girlfriend for putting up with me over the years. For inviting me over the holidays when I have no where else to go. For cooking & being there for me. For putting up with me when I'm depressed or going thru PTSD.
Lately she keeps reminding me we are just friends. And I really feel like I've been pushed more and more out of her life in the past 4-5 years. It's past time I get a girlfriend. Have tried for years but was never able to find a woman who was as good as her. Or find one I was attracted to. But sigh, I have to try again, am trying again.
Woman is a magical fun creature. Finding the right one, now that's the trick! Thanks to all the women who make our lives better, easier & enjoyable.
