There are many clones of the original Wordle.

Facebook has one.

To me, the facebook puzzles seem slightly easier than other versions.

Here is one from today.

I use the same word to start on any version of wordle that I try. And often enter "lunch" if 'orate' wasn't specially revealing. My friend, for no discernible reason uses a variety of words. I don't see an advantage to doing that.

Discussion:
First word----orate
Second word---wanted to see where the 'o' might be placed.
3rd word, Since I got the 'r' and one of the 'o's placed correctly, and
the 'm' wouldn't go at the beginning, that left the second 'o' to go
at the end. "romo".....not a big stretch to imagine that 'p' was the
first letter.

And it was.

Who else does Wordle style puzzles?

I done some of the ones that have 16, 8, or 4, to solve.

I like the 2 puzzle version, dordle.
Particularly the 'free' one.
You don't have to finish it all in one go.
Or in one day. Or week.
You can come back...whenever. And it's still there to work on.

I have done these. They're cool. Sudoku and mahjong are just as infectious to me. These game makers knew about us and that they had a built in fanbase, haha.
